These are questions commonly asked of Loyalsock Township School District about its iPad Initiative. This list will continue to grow as we move forward with the initiative.
When will the iPad Initiative begin and who will be getting iPads?
The iPad initiative will be implemented at the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year. In August 2013, all students in grades 8 through 12 will be receiving and using iPads. Teachers, support staff, and administrators also have received and will be using iPads.
Will students be trained on how to use their iPad?
Yes. During the first day of school, students will attend a brief training session in which they will setup their iPad, learn about maintaining it, and explore other basics on using the iPad for class-related activities.
If I have a technical question or need advice, whom should I contact?
